The UIM344 series Integrated Stepper Motors consist of a stepper motor, encoder, driver, and closed-loop controller. These motors interface with user controllers, PLCs, or computers through three wired signals: pulse, direction, and enable. Motor frame sizes offered are NEMA 8, NEMA 11, NEMA 17, NEMA 23, NEMA 34, and NEMA 42. Depending on the motor size, the rated current ranges from 0.25A to 6A, and the supply voltage is between 16V to 48V.
With the embedded encoder and closed-loop controller, these motors can achieve accurate positioning even in stalling situations. Missing step compensation is performed by the motor itself. The fully enclosed die-cast aluminum body provides rugged, durable protection and improves heat dissipation.
