Modification Method:

Loosen the set screw on the original lens mount and take off the original Canon EF or Nikon F mount. Attach the PL mount and tighten the screw. If you wish to change back to the original mount, simply remove the PL mount and attach the original mount. Your lens and lens mount will not be manipulated during the entire process.
