Highly detailed 1/72 scale assembly model kit of the North American B-25, a twin-engine medium bomber employed by the United States and her allies in World War II. Coined the "Mitchell" in honor of aviation pioneer General Billy Mitchell, the B-25 was a versatile aircraft that served in every combat theater during the Second World War. The exceptional versatility of the B-25 was best demonstrated on April 18, 1942, when 16 B-25Bs led by the legendary Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle took off from the carrier USS Hornet and successfully bombed Tokyo and four other Japanese cities. This Hasegawa 1/72 scale assembly kit features the B-25J variant, the last production model of the B-25. This kit includes detailed cockpit, bomb bay area, full armament and payloads, engine and gun ports, and decals for three versions: 1) #43-36192 "Jaunty Jo", 498th B.S., November 1944. 2) #43-36176 "Miss B Havin", 498th B.S., February 1945. 3) #43-27900 "Bottoms-Up II", 486th B.S., March 1944. Model Length: 242mm, Width: 286mm. 132 pieces total.
