Working principle
1. A shunt is actually a resistor with very small resistance. When DC current passes through, it generates a voltage drop for display of DC current.
2. The DC current is actually a voltmeter with a full degree of 75 mV. The DC ammeter and the shunt are used together. For example, the shunt resistance of the 100A ammeter is 0.00075 ohm, that is 100A*0.00075 ohm=75 mV; the shunt resistance of the 50A ammeter is 0.0015 ohm, 50A*0.0015 ohm=75mV.

The shunt is widely used to enlarge the measuring current range of instrument, and can be used for current limiting and current sharing sampling detection in power supply circuit of automatic control of communication system electronic whole machine.
