How do I choose the right thru axle adapter?

Normally there is text printed on the original axle indicating the length and thread size. So take them off the bike and check them. Also check the original axis length and thread spacing. If you are unsure, please contact us first!

How do you measure the length of your existing thru axle?

The distance from the end of the thread (outer edge) to the left stop is the length.

How do you measure thread pitch?

If this information is not marked on the axis, it can be measured using the MM ruler.

Methods as follows:

Align the first thread tooth to 0. If tooth number 11 is aligned at 10 mm, this corresponds to a pitch of 1.0.

Align the first thread tooth to 0. If thread number 8 is exactly between 10 mm and 11 mm, this corresponds to a pitch of 1.5.

Align the first thread tooth to 0. If thread number 7 is exactly between 10 mm and 11 mm, that corresponds to a pitch of 1.75.

Friendly Tips:

1. The length of the thru axle does not meet the wheel hub standard. To fit into a bicycle frame, the axle must be longer than the hub. Please check the shaft length and thread spacing carefully before purchasing.
