TimberWolf RK (Raker) and HP (High Performance) tooth-style blades have a very thin kerf and 0-degree rake angle, and are specifically designed for detail work in 1" and smaller kiln dry wood when a very clean finish is required. They are also very effective in plywood, particleboard and other similar products where tear-out is a concern. These blades can also be used to cut soft metals. RK blades are available in widths from 3/16 - 1 and 8, 10, 14 and 18 TPI. HP blades are only available in 1/8 x 14TPI. Suffolk Machinery Corporation, the maker of Timber Wolf band saw blades, manufactures some of the finest woodworking, metal cutting and saw mill blades in the world. They are made from premium Swedish silicon steel and the highest quality alloys.
