Directions : 1. Unpackage the 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing. 2. Choose the appropriate size for your needs: 2.375 x 2.375 inches (6 cm x 7 cm) or 4 x 4.75 inches (10 cm x 12 cm). 3. Ensure the area around the I.V. site or wound is clean and dry. 4. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive surface. 5. Apply the dressing carefully, centering it over the I.V. site or wound. 6. Press down firmly on the dressing to ensure secure adhesion. 7. Monitor the site or wound without disturbing or removing the dressing, as it allows continuous monitoring through its transparency. 8. Replace the dressing after 7 days or if it becomes loose or damaged.
