Acetal resins have a high resistance to organic solvents, a low coefficient of friction, and an outstanding resistance to abrasion when compared to other thermoplastics. Acetal / Delrin is exceptionally resistant to moisture, lubricants (including gasoline). These rods have a broad temperature range and are among the most creep resistant crystalline thermoplastics.
