The QUTO 3/4 AQ-F0601 is an upper media screen (aka Top Collector) for the FLECK, Legacy, Runxin (AspenPro, Aerus, Genesis, etc.), and all other control valves that require or allow counter-clockwise twist-on. Known analogues: Top 1.05 Twist On Basket Strainer 1.05 O.D. Distributor FP-UPBSKT, D5120F, D1203, 18280, TDB1050-BS 2. Bottom distributor QUTO 3/4" QTF0602, 0.25mm slots Prevents resin loss during Service. The QTF0602 is an lower media screen (aka Bottom Collector) for any 1.05" (3/4") product platforms. It fits a standard 1.05" OD riser tube, glue-locks to the bottom side of the dip-pipe. Lower distributor 3/4" F0602, 0.25mm slots 1.05 inch O.D. Bottom Distributor .010" - .013" slots Used to make Distributor Tube with a piece of 3/4" SDR21 PVC Pipe ( gluing the distributor to the PVC pipe with PVC Cement ). This 1.05" O.D. pipe size is used on all new residential valves. Some older valves used the 13/16" O.D. tubes, but you can still use the larger 1.05" distributor and adapt to your old valve by gluing ( use PVC Cement ) a 6" section of your old 13/16" tube into the center of a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe that is Schedule 40. You don't use a "coupler", but the actual pipe, 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC used with the MD1236, since the INNER diameter matches the OUTER diameter of the 13/16" pipe it will fit tightly inside the new 3/4" PVC ( must be Schedule 40 ). Your old distributor pipe can usually be a guide to the length or height your new pipe will need to be ( And it must be Touching the Bottom of the Tank ). If the Valve is a Fleck 5600, then you will need the new tube to be equal to the top of the resin tank ( not more than 1/4" above ). It is helpful to "round" or "smooth" the top edges of the new PVC pipe with sand paper so that insertion into the valve does not damage the distributor o-ring in the valve body.
