ProductDescription : The Valken 2-3 Cell Digital OLED Li-Ion/LiPo Smart Charger is a smart charger for lithium airsoft batteries and has more built-in safety features reducing the risk of battery charging mishaps. The lithium charger safety features include and alarm and auto shut-off if any cell is below 2.8V, or if the balance between cells has a difference greater than 0.3V. The lithium charger comes with its own power supply, and charges lithium battery packs at selectable charging currents through 3-pin, or 4-pin charging ports. This lithium airsoft charger will safely charge both lithium ion and lithium polymer airsoft batteries safely and efficiently. A chime and auto shut-off will engage once the battery pack is fully charged. They have a compact design, and the OLED screen shows battery voltage capacity and percentage charged for each cell. The lithium charger also features reverse polarity and short circuit protection built in, as well as over-charge and over-current protection. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Always charge your new battery fully before its first use. Connect the DC power or AC adapter to the proper Lipo charger. Plug the charger's power into an appropriate wall outlet. Press and release the button on the side to the left of the OLED display to cycle and select the charging output rate. Connect the battery pack to the charger with the small XH charging connector and make sure the polarity is connected in the right way. Then charging will start automatically. Place battery inside a Lithium Battery Safety Bag while charging. Charging OLED should display battery voltage and capacity during charging. Battery pack is at full charge when capacity reads 100% and a chime will sound 25 times. Once chime sequence is complete, the charger will automatically power off. Disconnect battery pack from charger before unplugging the charger from the wall outlet. WARNING Never leave the charger unattended while it is connected to power supply. Never attempt to charge more than 1 battery pack simultaneously from the same charger. Only use the appropriate charger with your LiPo & Li-Ion batteries. Use of other chargers can result in fire, personal injury and property damage. Never leave batteries and chargers unattended when in use. Always remove the battery from the charger or airsoft gun when not in use. Always charge batteries in a safe area, on a stable non-flammable, heat-resistant, and non-conductive surface away from other flammable items. Unsafe charging surfaces include, but not limited to, car seats, carpet, bed, or something similar that can heat up quickly and melt or catch fire. Never allow your battery and charger to be dislodged or fall during charging as this can result in fire, personal injury and property damage. Never alter, modify or open your battery pack or charger. Terminate charging immediately when any malfunction is observed. Always keep your battery in a safe secure location to prevent damage during transport or storage. Always keep batteries away from liquids. Always keep batteries out of the reach of children. Don't charge the following types of batteries: Lead Acid battery or VRLA. NiMh or NiCd battery packs. Non-rechargeable battery (explosion hazard) Faulty or damaged battery. Battery pack which consists of different types of cells. Any other type of battery except for Li-Po and Li-Ion battery packs.
