The Medium 2.0 & Large 3.0 have a mesh outside pocket. The newer versions have an inside slip pocket instead. The newer versions also have foam padded sides so the bag sits more upright and features a cable port on the end of the bag.
BulletPoint4 : CONSTRUCTION—The exterior of the bag is constructed of rugged 400-denier or 420-denier Nylon fabrics. The main compartment has a heavy-duty #8 water-repellent zipper (opens from the front to facilitate battery pack cords). Reflective strips on the sides. A dense 3mm foam padding is sewn into the bottom to protect against vibrations of road or trail.
