Prior to 2024, you might have been acquainted with the well-known Planar, Aluminum Ribbon, and AMT Super Tweeters, however, their highest sensitivity only reaches up to 96 dB. This means that some of our customers, who have speakers exceeding 96 dB, are unable to fully experience the allure of our super tweeters. We have recently introduced the "HST" super tweeter, a dual firing AMT super tweeter with high sensitivity. This unit is built on the foundation of the DST technology, utilizing a larger size, higher efficiency, and more powerful AMT unit. With an impressive effective sensitivity of 103 dB, it can be seamlessly paired with any speaker that has a sensitivity up to 103 dB. Our new High Sensitivity Dual AMT Super tweeter delivers quick dynamics and an ultra-clear high frequency transient response, expanding the atmospheric sound stage like you've never heard before. The light, airy highs produced by our AMT super tweeter are incredibly smooth, providing an effect which transports you even further into the sonic abyss of your music and movies. Aperion Audio has introduced our newest HST-high sensitivity AMT super tweeter speaker, which utilizes the neodymium magnetic radial magnetic field (NRT) technology. In this design, the powerful magnetic poles are positioned on both sides of the sound membrane, resulting in a centripetal convergence that directly drives the sound unit. As a result, the radial magnetic field becomes more uniform and stronger, leading to improved sound density and off-axis response. Additionally, this technology eliminates any magnetic loss, resulting in higher magnet efficiency and increased sensitivity with minimal distortion. After years of development, we are pleased to introduce the High Sensitivity Dual Air Motion Super Tweeter-HST. The AMT driver measures 5 x 1 inches (128mm x 25mm) in size. The Kapton has a thickness of 12.5 μm, while the Aluminum is 20 μm, resulting in a total thickness of 45 μm. Sensitivity testing was conducted using 2.83v @ 1 meter. The crossover utilized is Butterworth. The components include FR4 pcb board and Aperion custom capacitors. High purity copper internal cables are used to minimize resistance. The transducer features a single ribbon design with dual firing open baffle, ensuring even distribution of the driving force across the vibrating element.
