Precautions for using the jack:

(1) The jack should be stored in a dry and dust-free place, not exposed to sunlight or rain.

(2) Before using the jack, it should be cleaned and inspected for piston lifting and flexibility of each component, for any damage, and whether the oil is clean, etc.

(3) When using the jack, it should be placed on a flat and solid surface. On soft ground, a pad should be laid to increase the pressure-bearing area. The choice of the pad should be based on the geological conditions and the weight supported by the jack. A wooden board should be placed between the top of the jack and the object to avoid equipment damage and slipping.

(4) The jack should not be overloaded, and the handle should not be arbitrarily lengthened nor excessive force applied by multiple people. The lifting height should not exceed the mark on the sleeve or piston, and if there is no mark, the lifting height should not exceed three-quarters of the total height of the screw thread or oil plug.

(5) During operation, the object should be slightly lifted first, then check whether the pad under the jack is flat, firm, and the jack is vertical. If the jack becomes uneven, not firm, and skewed after being pressed, the jack must be loosened and handled properly before it can be raised. When lifting, a safety wooden board or iron plate should be padded under the object as it rises to prevent the danger of the jack or back oil causing the piston to suddenly drop. When lowering the hydraulic jack, just slightly open the return valve to let it slowly descend, and do not suddenly drop to prevent damage to the internal cup and make the jack unusable, or spray oil on people.

(6) If several jacks are used to lift an object at the same time, unified command is required, and they should descend simultaneously at roughly the same speed to avoid accidents caused by tilting of the object during lifting. If possible, a common oil pump can be used for centralized operation.

(7) The jack is used for lifting heavy objects, and all contact surfaces should touch the heavy object, so they are treated with spray paint. Paint loss during express transportation is possible, which does not affect the use.
