The bottle is made of FDA compliant low density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic and have very good impact resistance . The cap is made from FDA compliant polypropylene (PP). LDPE bottles can handle temperatures of 175°F (80 °C) continuously and 203 °F (95 °C) for a short time. These are not microwave safe.
