If a pvc pipe fitting is NSF rated it means it has passed very strict standards and test procedures and is certified for use in residential or commercial plumbing projects. From a sizing standpoint, a 3/4 inch pipe will fit inside our 3/4 inch bulkhead, a 2 inch pipe will fit inside our 2 inch bulkhead and so on. All of our bulkhead fittings are slightly tapered so that any plumbing pipe will fit and as the pipe slides into the bulkhead, it becomes tighter (unless you prefer a threaded fit - which is also available).
