The tube has an inside diameter of 1.5 inches before shrinking, and .5 inches after shrinking (38mm - 12.7mm). They are crafted from premium materials to ensure optimum performance and long-term usage.
BulletPoint2 : USAGE – Our splice connector kits are easy to use. The cables are entered into the aluminum mechanical connector, and its set screws tightened over them. Then, the insulated tubing is centered over the connection and sealed with a heat gun or torch. The tubing has a shrinking ratio of 3:1.
BulletPoint3 : DUAL RATED – This splice kit is dual rated for use with copper or aluminum wires. Great for use when splicing conductors for direct burial. Compatible with USE cables.
BulletPoint4 : SIZE – This Single Sided Splice Connector is designed for wire range 3/0-250MCM AWG, and its’ screws are Allen Hex size 3/8.
