This type DD camlock (Cam and Groove) spool coupler with pipe tap has a 3" female camlock quick connect coupler on both sides and 3/4" pipe tap on the middle of the fitting. Both sides of this coupler will only attach to a 3" female camlock coupler. It is typically used to spool two lengths of hose together. The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of stainless steel. Stainless Steel cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. These cam and groove fittings are suitable for use with water, hydraulic oils, coolants, gasoline, and other petroleum products. These Type DD cam and groove fitting is made to quickly connect or disconnect. They comply with commercial item description A-A-59326D for quick disconnect fittings. These camlock fittings are often used in applications such as vacuum trucks, vacuum trailers, frac tanks, fuel delivery, grain movement and waste water industry.
