A 1.0 joule battery fence energizer kit designed for folks that are new to using an electric fence. All of the parts and pieces necessary are included except for the fencing material and a 12 volt deep cycle battery. Works with electric netting, multi-strand or single strand temporary or semi-permanent portable fences. IntelliShock 10 units automatically adjusts battery draw down by as much as 67%, if the fence isn't touching green weeds or shorted out. The need to recharge a battery is therefore less in the winter or when grass is dormant. Also works well in situations where fences require less charge like 1 or 2 strand horse, cattle or anti-deer fences. 12v DC draw is 31-90 mA/hr. With this energizer, a 12v 100 ampere hour, deep cycle battey will last approximately 27 days on a weedy fence or 80 days on a clean fence, assuming the battery is drawn down to 40% between charges. Peak output is 1.0 joules and pulses 38 times per minute. Energizer is low impedance. Kit includes: IntelliShock 10 Energizer (1.0 joule output), 12v leads and wiring harness, 3 ft. galvanized ground rod, and 5-light wireless fence tester. NOTE: BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED.
