ProductDescription : Styro Pro Adhesive (280 ml) is a high strength water based premixed acrylic paste adhesive that can be used to bond polystyrene ceiling tiles and other decorative products such as PVC ceiling tiles, polystyrene crown moldings, lightweight wall panels to most construction substrates such as popcorn or stippled ceilings, cement, gypsum, plaster, polyurethane, polystyrene, painted surfaces and wood. Highly flexible and will not crack over time. Can also be used to fill in holes and small gaps and any inconsistencies in the walls or ceilings. Has strong initial grab and can be painted over with any suitable paint. Has no smell Applied using the standard caulking gun. 1 tube is enough to install 12-14 PVC or 15-18 Styrofoam tiles (when installing foam tiles over popcorn or stippled ceilings - you may need more glue. It will depend on how rough is the surface). Surface Preparation : Ceiling tiles should only be glued to clean, dry surfaces that are free of any loose particles For best adhesion, roughen wall and ceilings with sand paper. Use a clean brush to remove any dust Application: Cut the tip off the cartridge above the thread Cut the tip of the nozzle to the desired bead size and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge Apply the adhesive as per the product installation instructions Wipe off excess adhesive with a damp sponge or cloth before it has dried Allow adhesive 24 hours to dry completely Note : If adhesive is applied to wet surfaces the drying time will increase substantially Storage : Store in cool dry place below 30C (86F) Keep container tightly sealed to prevent the adhesive from drying out Caution: Wear gloves and avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs rinse immediately with water. If irritation persist – seek medical attention. Test product on samples before installation to ascertain suitability.
