Installation over carpet may vary in results depending on the carpet. Connecting the tiles together over carpet can be made easier by using plywood underneath as you are connecting the tiles together.

It’s an easy-to-install portable tap dance floor that still offers commercial quality materials. The kit has all the pieces you need for a high-quality tap floor, including individual tiles and the matching border pieces. The pieces just pop together using hidden pegs and loops, creating a secure fit that does not require any adhesive. Just step on the edges once they’re lined up, and they will pop together. By not using glue, you can disassemble the tiles at any time to take them to a new location. Practice at home, practice at the studio, or carry the tiles to a friend’s house for a group practice.
