Very important when installing to make certain the 187690 spacer washer is placed below the pulley (between pulley and top bearing). If spacer is installed above the pulley the splines on the shaft and the pulley may be damaged. If you have damaged stars and the blade spins this will take care of that problem. The main cause of a damaged star is improperly seated blades. Take care when installing blades to make certain the star hole on the blade is fully seated in the star of the shaft to prevent re-damage to stars.
