With the ability to handle low flow, moderate pressure applications, this Shurflo 8000-541-236 Automatic-Demand Pump is the pump of choice for sprayers used on the farm and around the yard. The unique conical valve design delivers flow rates at maximum discharge pressures, making this 12-volt lawn and garden pump ideal for spot sprayers and agricultural sprayers. The 60 psi demand switch eliminates the need for a pressure regulator and is used in applications that require a set flow and pressure (eg. spray wands on spot sprayers). The demand switch operates by automatically turning the pump on and off as flow is required. Note: The Shurflo 8000-541-236 and 8009-541-236 are the exact same pumps. The Shurflo 255-568 In-Line Strainer included in this bundle is a bowl-style, twist-on strainer that prevents debris from being drawn into your 12V electric diaphragm pump. Install this strainer / suction filter on the vacuum side of the pump head to help prevent debris and other particles from entering your pump. The strainer has polypropylene housing, nylon bowl, and 50 mesh stainless steel screen.
