ProductDescription : This bundle includes 2 items: (1) Shurflo 8000-543-290 Bypass 12-Volt Diaphragm Pump with (1) 100 PSI Pressure Gauge. Designed to accommodate to applications that have external pressure valves plumbed into the system, the Shurflo 8000-543-290 Bypass Pump provides up to 1.8 gpm open flow for maximum performance on spot sprayers and agricultural sprayers. A 1/4" female NPT adapter is mounted on the switch ports for external bypass hook-up. Powered with a 12V DC electric motor, this Shurflo no control, front adapter pump is ideal for a range of applications, including lawn spraying, agricultural spraying, spot spraying, fluid transfer, and more. The bypass mode is useful in applications where a wide range of flows and pressures are required and where frequent stopping and starting of the motor is needed. An example is a spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled independently. The pump runs regardless of pressure in the system. Flow rate is different if one nozzle is turned on opposed to having two or more on. Once nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. The Pressure Gauge included in this bundle has a maximum reading of 100 psi. It is used to measure pressure and help diagnose any possible pressure problems. The gauge has a glass face and is glycerin-filled to reduce pulsation and lubricate the internal mechanism. Can be easily installed with a wrench.
