As a note, diesel fuel cannot be at or below the cloud point when preventative anti-gel is added. If the fuel is cold and wax has already begun to crystallize, the cold flow additive will not be able to modify the crystals. This is because cold fuel has poor solubility, so it will not mix with the additive. One of the easiest ways to ensure this additive is properly mixed is to add it at the pump while fueling.
