We have specially designed this LED bulb with LED lights on both sides so it not only directly illuminates the map/dome lamp, but it also reflects the light from the back to make the map/dome lamp even brighter. This new design makes our LED bulbs similar to the OEM incandescent bulbs that can shine multiple directions and appears much brighter than the single-direction LED bulb with the same or even more LED emitters. P.S. This LED bulb works even better for lots of American cars since many American cars' map/dome lamp housings have a chrome reflector inside.
