ProductDescription : SeaQualizer Descending Devices are used to ensure the survival of fish that you have to release back into the wild. Bottom dwelling fish like a snapper or grouper have a swim bladder that they use to regulate their buoyancy. At the surface this organ often over expands and its buoyancy prevents the fish from swimming back down to the bottom after it's been released. If one of these fish is caught out of season, is undersize, or is not the target species and needs to be released back into the wild, the best fishing practice is to return them to their natural environment first! That's where the SeaQualizer comes into play. Attach a SeaQualizer to a weighted fishing line and then to the fish that you're trying to release. Allow the weight to drag the fish down toward the bottom and at the depth that you've set the device to trigger it will automaticaly open, allowing the fish to swim off in its natural habitat. SeaQualizer's Standard Release descening device can be set to open at 50', 100', or 150'.
