ProductDescription : Do you have a Motorhome, a Fifth Wheel or a Travel Trailer with slideouts? If you do, you probably know how sharp the edges of these slidouts are. I myself suffered many bumps on the head and just recently had a collision with the edge of my slideout that sent me to Emergency where the gash required 8 Staples! That was a wakeup call as to how deadly a unprotected edge can be. I became aware of how a child could run into one of these edges with life threatening consequences. I looked on the Internet, ebay, Amazon and other RV part stores for edge protectors. What I found were decorative rubber covers that would not protect you if you collided with the edge of the Slideout. I decided that for real protection I would require a polypropylene foam corner guard that would absorb a impact without causing personal damage. Since I could not find such a product I decided to produce these edge protectors at a very reasonable cost.
