Drum Counter Reset Instructions
Every new Drum you install, you need to reset the drum counter

Follow the steps below to reset the drum counter. "

Brother DCP-9020CDN/HL-3180CDW/MFC-9130CW/MFC-9330CDW/ MFC-9340CDW
1. Press “X” (Cancel) to interrupt the error.
2. Press TOOLS/Settings
3. Press “All Settings”
4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Machine Info.
5. Press “Machine Info ”
6. Press “Parts Life. ”
7. Touch the dial pad area to light up the LEDs.
8. Press # until the machine's display message changes.
9. Press the color of the drum unit you replaced.
10. Press Yes

Brother HL-3140CW / HL-3150CDN / HL-3170CDW
1. Press Up arrow key while holding down Go on the machine's control panel.
2. Press Up or Down arrow key to display Drum Unit. Press OK.
3. Press Up or Down arrow key to display the color of the drum that you replaced. Press OK.
4. Press Up arrow key for Reset to reset the drum counter.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

What you remove from your printer is a toner cartridge and drum unit assembly. What we sell on this listing is a DRUM ONLY. THE TONER CARTRIDGE IS NOT INCLUDED.

1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.
2. Open the top cover until it locks in the open position.
3. Take out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly for the color shown on the machine's display.
4. Push down the green lock lever and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
5. Unpack the new drum unit, and pull off the protective cover.
6. Put the toner cartridge firmly into the new drum unit until you hear it lock into place. If you install the cartridge correctly, the green lock lever on the drum unit will lift automatically.
7. Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the green tab from left to right and right to left several times.
