The longevity of a reed can be impacted based on how you store them, how much you are using them, and how much pressure you are putting on the Enchantress call when blowing. Always have a backup reed on hand when in the field (an extra reed is included in the collection). It’s easy and fast to replace the reed — simply pull the call apart (do NOT remove the screws) and set the new reed in place.
