The CPEL is constructed with flame and corrosion resistant ABS plastic
housing with a standard finish is white. This plastic unit is perfect for
under canopies, laundry rooms and maintenance tunnels where dampness
corrodes metal fixtures. Removable prismatic lenses on either side of the
CPEL provide even light distribution when the lamps are ignited.

For periodic monthly and bi-annual tests, an external test switch and LED
readiness monitor at the bottom of the housing allows the user to run
battery diagnostic and CSA-required discharge.

Battery

This CPEL emergency unit includes a 6V 4Ah lead calcium battery which
charges in 24-hours and has a very long dormant shelf life. Buy a bunch now
and keep extras on the shelf for up to 20 years! The rear housing is
removable, allowing you to replace or inspect the battery and inner
workings of the light.
