The Severe Weather LED Emergency Light is one of the most durable fixtures available today. It features a NEMA 4X rated waterproof housing and NSF Rating for use in food processing and cold storage facilities. The Severe Weather LED Emergency Light is an industrial-grade battery backup unit that can be used in the most severe weather environments without worry of reliability. It is UL924 Listed and compliant throughout the United States.

Construction

The WSV18M-2-LA-D has rear backplate that is constructed with heavy cast aluminum, and this model is given a white powder coating finish that is nearly impervious to corrosion and foul weather. Tamper proof screws and special bit are standard with this model. The backplate is intended for wall, strut or or beam mounting.

A removable clear, UV-resistant polycarbonate lens cover protects the MR16 lighting heads inside. The lens and back housing are hermetically sealed with a silicone gasket to prevent water, vapor or dust leakage and gives this robust unit a NEMA 4X Severe Wet Location Rating.

Illumination

This model of the WSV18M-2-LA-D includes two (2) 4W LED MR16 swivel heads that can be positioned without a tool, and provides you with full beam angle control. This lamp type is equivalent to a 12-watt halogen and lasts between 8-10 years, so you don't have to worry about changing the lamps every year!

Battery and UL Testing

Our Severe Weather LED Emergency Light includes a single 6V Lead Calcium battery, which supplies 18W of usable emergency power ideal for a nearby remote heads or exit signs. It is rated to last at least 90 minutes during a power outage
