To be used only with LALIZAS HRU bolt & nut for EPIRB (74580-LALIZAS Mounting Kit for Hydrostatic Release Unit for EPIRB) – available separately – . Installation Instructions: 1. Remove the old HRU and the bolt & nut from the EPIRB and dispose of them. 2. Mark the expiry date on the new HRU. 3. Place the new HRU and the new bolt & nut and fasten. Marking the Expiry Date: The expiry date must be marked on the label of the HRU for EPIRB. In order to mark the expiry date (month and year) of the unit, use a knife and scrape off the numbers indicating the month and the year, which is two years after installation.
