The StaticTek MT4500-Texture series of ESD-safe 2-layer rubber matting is made of 100% co-extruded rubber. The durable two-layer mat is constructed with a textured, dissipative top layer and a conductive bottom layer and offers excellent resistance to hot solder, soldering irons, and most solvents.

The MT-Texture series is 0.080" thick and available in 40 foot rolls in 24 inch, 30 inch, 36 inch, and 48 inch widths. Pre-cut mat sizes are available with grounding hardware and common point ground cords. Available in Light Blue, Royal Blue, Gray, and Green.

The workbench mat is distributed by StaticTek, a family owned, and operated company located in Keizer, Oregon, USA. StaticTek provides static control equipment, supplies, and services. Gaining control over the static charges in your controlled area will improve product yield from direct ESD damage to devices, associated problems from RFI and EMI signals, and indirect problems caused by electro-static attraction of particles to clean surfaces.

How it Works?

The dissipative mat is made to drain the static discharge from the objects that are placed on the mats. Another benefit of our product is that it protects the surfaces of ESD-sensitive devices from wear and tear. The conductive mat slow down the flow of static charge that neutralizes the static electricity and moves it away from the electronic parts being worked on. ESD mats performance is based on the material they are constructed with, their electrical properties, and their ability to withstand chemicals, heat, and mechanical abrasion.
