Zinc anode bags are used for preventing corrosion in selected soils, including in brackish and salt water environments. Additionally, Zinc Anodes may be used as an electrical ground, or a permanent reference that is installed under tank bottoms. Zinc Anodes are 95% efficient at distributing electricity at -1.1 VDC with open-circuit potentials to a copper/copper sulphate electrode. Zinc sacrificial anode bag anodes are available packed in cotton bags, with various weights, sizes, and shapes, all manufactured according to quality control standards.
