ProductDescription : Medium: original etching (re-strike). Issued in 1956, only 30 impressions of this etching were printed for the exclusive signed/numbered first edition, after which the plate was "canceled" by having a single diagonal line drawn through (which does not greatly compromise the composition). This second re-strike edition was printed from the original plate by Crommelynck and issued in an edition of 2000 for the special Dix Ans d'Edition of Derriere le Miroir in 1956, published in Paris by Maeght. Plate size: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (120 x 89 mm). There is a publisher's inscription in the margin to the right of the etching identifying it as canceled (rayé) and printed text on back of the sheet. Signed by Miro in the plate (not by hand).
