ProductDescription : This listing is for a Aquatec PSW-240 pressure switch. For 1/4" OD tubing, JG quick connect inlet/outlet, the cut off pressure is 40 psi. Normally closed, that means, between 0 to 39 psi, the pressure switch is 'ON' when pressure reaches 40 psi, the switch will shut off electricity, when pressure drops to 25 to 30 psi cut in pressure, the pressure switch turns back on. This is usually used in RO system with pressure tank and pressure pump. This pressure switch comes with Aquatec quick plugs, which connects to transformer and pressure pump. This pressure switch connects to 1/4" tubing at the pure water line going into pressure tank for dispensing faucet. If your tubing size is larger 3/8 tubing going into the tank or to the dispensing faucet, then choose PSW-340 instead.
