Acoustic coupling is done with spikes.They are attached to the bottom of the speaker with the tip facing the floor,and a support plate is placed between the tip and the floor to prevent damageto the floor.

The speaker spikes come in the slimdesign and are adjustable in height. The cone shape and small bearing surfacedirect vibrations through the cabinet and into the floor. Back vibrations thatcould affect the speaker cabinet from the floor are kept away because of theirshape.
