Please note that Yaesu 8-pin round type Mic jacks do not provide Speaker Audio, so you'll need to connect an audio cable between the radio and the SignaLink as described in the SignaLink Installation Manual. This cable must be used or you will not be able to receive!

G1 / G2 Jumper Settings - To maintain compatibility with as many radios as possible, this jumper module has two small jumpers that can be set to provide additional Ground ("G") connections needed by some radios (see below). These two jumpers should be installed as follows for the following radios only. Do *NOT* install either jumper if your radio isn't listed below:

• Both jumpers "G1" and "G2" should be installed for the FT-890, FT-980, FT-990, FT-1000 and the FT-1000D.
• Only jumper "G1" should be installed for the FT-847, FT-920, FT-950, FT-1000MP, FT-DX1200, and FT-DX5000.
