Product Description:
This SAE 45 degree 1/2” flare union is made of high-quality brass and connects two tubes or pipes. It is easy to connect flare fittings, and there is no need to weld or solder. When the flared fitting is connected to pipes, it is necessary to use a tool to expand the end of the pipe into a bell mouth to match the flare end, which is reliable connection. Commonly used to connect various pipes, such as air pipe, fuel pipe, water pipe as well as air tools. The pipe can be brass, steel, iron, copper, aluminium or plastic pipe. It can also be used with grease, fuels, LP and natural gas, refrigeration, instrumentation and hydraulic systems in low and medium pressure pipe line connections. Teflon tape and thread sealant are recommended for threaded joints. It is easy to disassemble, no flaring tool required.

Assembly Instructions:
- Cut smooth square end on tubing.
- Slide nut onto tube, threads facing the end of the tube.
- Flare end of tube with flaring tool.
- Thread the nut to body until snug, then 1/6th turn.
