Extra Heavy Fender Washers are substantially thicker than a standard, or even an extra thick, Fender Washer (For Example a 1/4" x 1-1/4" Standard is 0.050 inches thick, and an Extra Thick is Max 0.125 - Min 0.100 inches, whereas an Extra Heavy is 1/4" thick). This can prevent the need to stack thinner washers.
