ProductDescription : At Mavrk we're crazy about euro-nymphing. We believe that simpler is better when stalking wild river trout. The Tracer 62 Euro-nymph line leader system is a proven winning formula when stalking wild river trout. Carry less and fish better, we always say.

The Tracer 62 starts out with 50 feet of lightweight .6mm Euro-nymph fly line. It's lightweight so you can better elevate above the surface water and eliminate drag from the fast top water current. This lets your weighted fly sink quickly into the strike zone where the fish are holding. Our line has a nice grippy coating that allows you to work your magic when casting, stripping and fighting fish. Its supple low memory core allows great casting accuracy and line control.

The 5 feet leader butt section is tied onto the fly line with a nail knot. This 15 pound monofilament is the perfect diameter for joining the light fly line and long leader. It's low memory eliminates coils quickly.

The 4 feet 12 pound intermediate leader section is tied onto the 15 pound mono with a blood knot. It's low memory eliminates coils quickly. It's Hi-Vis green color can be seen in both bright and dark conditions but fish don't seem to notice.

The 3 feet of 1X bi-color sight line is both red and yellow. It's tied onto the 15 pound intermediate leader section with blood knot. This line helps to visually detect strikes even before you feel it.

The leader is finished off with a 2.5 millimeter stainless steel tippet rind to attach your tippet. We use premium round wire, not square wire that will cut your tippet!
