ProductDescription : Manual rotating Coconut Scrapper made from high-quality stainless steel imported directly from Southern India. Better than the vacuum base ones, these stay securely in place on the edge of any counter with its wide clamping system. The specially designed handle rotates easily to quickly extract fine coconut scraps from coconut halves. It is a must for cooks from Southern India and Sri Lanka where coconut is used in almost every dish. Extra care must be taken to use this scrapper as used improperly may cause injury. Do not allow children to use it or get close to it. Assembly required. To use it, securely fasten the clamp the scrapper stand on the edge of a fixed strong wooden table, granite or counter edge making sure it is tight. Assemble the blade and handle to the scrapper stand. To scrap the coconut, take a half cut coconut with one hand and place the coconut half over the blade so the blade is inside the coconut. Rotate the handle with the other hand in clockwise direction. As the blade moves inside the coconut, it will scrapes the coconut flakes. You may place a bowl below the blade to catch the falling flakes. After each use, make sure to clean the scraper under running water. Be careful with the sharp blade while cleaning it to avoid injury.
