SPECIFICATIONS:

HOW TO USE：

1. Connect the Adapter: Insert the adapter valve into the filling port of your 5 to 40 lb propane tank. Securely screw the 1 lb propane tank onto the other end of the adapter.
2. Position the Tank: Turn your 5-40 lb propane tank upside down and open the tank valve. Close the 1/4” on-off control valve.
3. Attach the Cylinder: Install the 1" x 20 Female throwaway cylinder thread onto the 1 lb tank.
4. Start the Flow: Open the 5-40 lb propane tank valve and turn on the 1/4" on-off control valve.
5. Monitor the Process: When the gas flow stops, close the 1/4" on-off control valve and carefully remove the 1 lb cylinder.

SAFETY FIRST:

Outdoor Use Only!! Due to the flammable nature of propane, always use this adapter outdoors, away from flames and sparks.

Pre-Refill Check: Ensure the valve is closed before refilling for maximum safety.

HOW TO CHECK TANK FULLNESS:

Weigh the empty cylinder and then again after refilling. A full camping propane bottle will weigh approximately 1 lb more.

Listen for the gas flow; when it quiets down, the tank is full. This process typically takes about 1 minute.
