The EDC33 intelligently decreases brightness when in close proximity to prevent overheating.

The EDC33 offers the convenience of USB-C rechargeability. Simply twist the USB-C cover at the tail to access the built-in charging port. The EDC33 also features two lockout modes: Half and Full. In Half Lockout Mode, you can still access the Search and Lumin Shield, while the Full Lockout will fully prevent any accidental activation.
