With pressurised fermentation becoming ever more popular it has becomeincreasingly important to have a method of regulating and controlling thisresidual pressure from the fermentation process. The BlowTie has beendesigned specifically for this reason.

Pressure TransfersWhen transferring from keg to keg, keg to bottle, or fermenter to keg it's oftena good idea to have head pressure in the keg you are fillinginto especially ifyou are transferring a beverage that is carbonated. For this reason the BlowTie can consistently control this head pressure giving you moreconsistent results and without losing carbonation in the process.

Traditional spunding valves that use a simple spring against a seal are flawedright from the beginning as the physical aspects of the design dictate that youwill have a significant difference between the opening pressure and closingpressure during operation. Brewers have tolerated this imperfection for longenough and now you can control these pressures far more accurately.The BlowTie has been made completely differently taking advantage of adiaphragm to actuate the sealing mechanism that will release pressure fromthe pressure vessel with much more accurate control pressure.

Connect and use:
1.choose good quality tube, (e.g. EVA tube ,double wall, 5mm id,8mmod)
2.Insert the tube into the duotight and BlowTie Diaphragm Spunding Valve(Pay attention to the direction of the arrow)
3.Use the yellow adjustment knob to control the pressure coming out of thepressure vessel, Clockwise is higher pressure and anticlockwise is lower pres-sure.

This kit has been designed for simplicity and ease of putting together.If you want to control the pressure retained in a pressure vessel that isreleasing pressure then the BlowTie Diaphram Spunding Valve is the toolfor the job.The adjustment knob on the top of the unit makes it easy toincrease and decrease the set pressure.This BlowTie unit can
