ProductDescription : Made in the USA This unit from Larson Electronics is a 4-Stage Light Mast with Cord Reel Mounting Plate that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to eighteen feet. This light tower features a cord reel mounting plate and a T-head component at the top of the pole. The heavy-duty mast comes with a wide foundational base at the bottom of the pole for support. This telescoping four stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 18` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 18` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base stage 5.38` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, second stage 5.70` and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, third stage 6.01` and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and a top stage 6.43` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 2` minimum overlap. The mast is elevated by pressing down on the end of base stage, elevating the mast into the upright position. The mast is extended to its full height using an included short handle 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. The short handle contributes to this mast`s low profile while also requiring a smaller amount of clearance to raise or lower the mast.
