How to use Christmas heat transfer vinyl with your cutting machine

1. PREPARE CUT FILE

The first step in crafting with heat transfer vinyl is to prepare your design to cut in the cutting machine software you are using.

2. CUT DESIGN FROM HEAT TRANSFER VINYL PLACE HTV ON CUTTING MAT.

3. ADJUST CUT SETTINGS AND CUT:

adjust your cut settings to work with the material you are using. This process will be a little bit different for every cutting machine, but just make sure to choose the settings for the particular type of heat transfer vinyl you are using ,we recommend cut a small piece of HTV vinyl for testing the setting.

4. WEED OUT EXCESS VINYL

removing any excess vinyl from around your design that you do not want to be transferred to your final product.

5. Heating or Ironing:

Preheat your base fabric for 3-5seconds to remove wrinkle.IF you use home iron ,please make sure no steam.

Pressure:Medium

Press Time: 10-15 seconds

Peel:Cold

NOTES:Wait at least 24 hours before washing, always wash inside out, not dry clean and do not bleach.
