Step By Step Guide

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace Cover your work area with newspaper or paper towels to catch any spills. Gather all your materials and tools.

Step 2: Measure and Cut the Wick Determine the length of the wick needed by measuring from the bottom of your container to the top and adding an extra 2-3 inches. Cut the wick to the appropriate length.

Step 3: Secure the Wick Use glue dot or glue gun to attach the wick to the bottom center of your container or mold. Allow the glue to dry completely.

Step 4: Melt the Wax Method 1: Double boiler method. Using a seperate kitchen pot, fill the pot with water and let it simmer on the stove. Then, put the melting pot that comes in the kit inside the kitchen pot while the water is simmering, add wax in melting pot and allow water to boil and melt the wax. Do not put too much water in the kitchen pot or else it will overflow and cause water to mix in with the wax through the melting pot.

Method 2: Direct method. Put the melting pot directly on the stove and add wax. Keep the stove on low for a slow and even burn. Allow wax to melt.

Stir occasionally until the wax is fully melted. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature. The melting point is between 130°F and 180°F (54°C to 82°C).

Step 5: Add anything you would like to candle to have. Such as glitter, color, or aroma (Optional) Once the wax is melted, remove it from the heat. If you've added any additional components to your wax, stir until it's all mixed well together.

Step 6: Pour the Wax Allow the wax to cool slightly to the recommended pouring temperature (usually around 140°F to 160°F or 60°C to 71°C). Pour the wax slowly into your container or candle tin, keeping the wick centered with the center device. Leave a small amount of wax in the pot for topping off if necessary.

Step 7: Secure the Wick Use a wick holder to keep the wick centered and upright while the wax cools.

Step 8: Allow the Candle to Cool Let the candle cool completely. This can take several hours. If there are any sinkholes or imperfections on the surface, reheat the remaining wax and pour a small amount on top to fill in gaps.

Step 9: Trim the Wick Once the candle is fully set and hardened, trim the wick to about ¼ inch (0.6 cm) above the surface of the wax.

Step 10: Enjoy Your Candle Your candle is now ready to use! Light it up and enjoy the ambiance.
