ProductDescription : Single-use replacement pads for our 17mm leak detectors. Please note that once a leak detector pad get wet and expands it must be replaced, so you may want to consider getting a few extra pads to keep on hand if the detector goes off. These pads will fit in our larger 20mm detectors but we don't suggest using them, as it may affect the performance of the shut off valve. We highly recommend using a leak detector especially if you have a system that may be left attended for long periods of time, such as a cottage, RV or rental unit. Our leak detectors are completely maintenance free, barring having to replace a pad and doesn't require any batteries or external power. It is easy to installed with the provided screws or adhesive pad and works great with any of our reverse osmosis and ¼” inlet under sink water purifiers. We recommend using a leak detector tray (part #105951 ) for better performance and hold any excess water if a leak occurs.
