This cap is the most compact solution, if you want to set a custom white balance in your camera.
In digital video camera with 16:9 aspect ratio, the horizontal picture angle is wider than the vertical. The square lens hood with a 1:1.5 aspect ratio suits the picture angles of 16:9 cameras much better than round hoods, thus combining the avoidance of vignetting with a highly improved stray light protection for these cameras.

The main function of the lens hood is to shade the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality and protecting the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles. Installation:
* Rotate lock-ring to expose the thread's mounting thread
